She didn't look at them in a superfacial manner, she looked directly into their eyes. Questioning how this odd ball group of children managed to remain friends all these years. Each so different from the other and yet the same. "Now?" Billy asked, hestitating behind the others as they walked through the front gate of the yard. "It'll be okay," Joyce turned to him and said in a soothing manner. "It is okay." Joyce reached out and touched Billy's arm, knudding him forward towards the gate. Slowly, in silence they all walked towards the open front door. AS they neared the porch, Joyce moved to the front of the group and took her place next to Christine. Christine smiled, Joyce reached out and touched her arm, "Ready hon?" Chris nodded her head and the two of them, side by side, entered the house.
